I am a psychotherapist, art therapist and visual artist from Northern California. I’ve resided in Chicago since 2008 and work as a therapist in Evergreen Park, IL.
I believe art making can be a bridge towards healing. My inspiration comes from the natural world and human emotions and experiences. Creating is a mindful, spiritual practice that encourages self-reflection and growth. Much of my work addresses personal struggles and themes of acceptance and change.
This artwork is from a series of drawings depicting abstracted forms of leaves and branches in different seasons. It reflects my practice of turning towards nature, which comforts and awakens my spirit.
