I am a Chicago based painter and visual artist who studied illustration at The American Academy of Art. My style fuses intuitive painting with vibrant colors and a love for portraiture.  

When I’m making art, it’s like a shared agreement between me and the rest of the universe, a discovery of something that was there the whole time but couldn’t be seen until now. In many ways, it’s therapeutic because it forces me to let go, and to love and trust myself.  When I do, a magical harmony happens, and then I can share that beautiful thing with someone else.

Most of my work is done in acrylic, but I love to incorporate all different mediums, including moss, paper, and thread.  While I enjoy bringing ideas to life, the fuel that drives my creativity is mostly about connection and self discovery.
