James Gu

James Gu was born in Toledo, OH, spent most of childhood near Dallas, TX, received a BBA from The University of Texas at Austin in 2015, and completed the School of the Art Institute of Chicago’s (SAIC) Post-Baccalaureate Painting & Drawing program in 2020. Currently, James’ work explores themes of rituals, cycles, and addictions.
