Since the lockdown, our windows became the barriers between us and the outside world. I had countless moments of looking through my window filtered by my still growing and flowering plants, contemplating and reflecting our relationship with the world outside. It looked quiet and peaceful at the same time the terrible news happening outside were blaring on our TV. The two worlds seem to be miles apart. But our backyard is the little outdoor haven in which many families still can enjoy and have some fun. For a moment, the turmoil in the world seems to be far away...
